Voor Engels moesten we een kookproject maken, daarom hebben wij high tea gemaakt.

Bo: Welcome to our cooking video, today we are going to make high tea!

Nikki: With some Brownies, Muffins,  Scones and Sandwiches!

Together: The things we need to use to make the high tea are:

- you need a bowl

- a mixer

- some baking tins

- an ice scoop

- a brownie tin

- a baking tray

-baking paper

- a knive

- a cuttingboard

- roasted beef

- creemy cheese

-bread

-muffins mix

-brownie mix

-scone mix

-measuring cup

-cumcumber

Bo: Now lets start! Lets start with the muffins, first you take the mix and you put it into a bowl. Then you add the water to the mix. Than you preheat the oven ten minutes before you start to make the muffins.

Mix the complete mix for muffins and the water in a mixing bowl.

Beat the mix 2 minutes on the highest speed to a smooth batter.

Fill the 10 baking tins with the batter using an ice scoop.

When you are ready you put the muffins into the oven and let them bake 12-15 minutes.

Nikki: The muffins are in the oven now, we can start with the brownies.

First you take the mix and the water and put it together in a bowl.

Mix the complete mix for Brownies and the water in a mixing bowl to a smooth and lump free batter.

After that you beat the mix 1 minute on medium speed. Crease the brownie tin  open and fill it evenly with the batter.

Than you put the muffing out of the oven and you put the brownies in it. Let them bake for 25 minutes. The muffins need to cool down.

Nikki: After the Brownies are in the oven we start with the sandwiches.

spread four slices of bread with cream cheese, and put some smoked beef on the sandwiches.

After that you put some non-thin cucumber slices on the sandwiches.

put the second slice of bread on the top and cut in half.

Your sandwiches are ready!

Bo: Last we take the brownies out of the oven and make the scones.

First you put the mix and the water into a bowl. After that you Knead the mix and the water with a mixer with dough hooks during 3 minutes on a medium speed to a smooth batter. Take the whole mix from the mixing bowl and knead it with your hands. Devide the dough into 8 equal pieces and make round globules of it. You can use a little bit of flour to prevent sticking. Let the globes rest for 5 minutes. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Put the globules on the baking tray and push them flat to a thickness of 1 cm.

After you did that you put it into the oven for 10-15 minutes.

Nikki: When everything is done we make the tea.

Nikki: You take a cup of hot water and you pick the english tea. Or if you dont like english tea you can pick another favour.

Bo: When the tea is ready you lay the table with plates and you put the tea and brownies, muffins, scones and sandwiches on the table. You decorate the table with some nice stuff so you can eat nice.

Nikki: High tea is very populair in the uk, you have much different things to make high tea and you

can choose what you like the most.

Everytime you can use different things to make your high tea even more special.
